Acorn Cottage may be our smallest property, but it’s rich in character and enjoys uninterrupted views across the Lakeland fells. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the estate, it offers a real sense of privacy and calm.

The cottage has a distinctive feel, with high ceilings, original beams and an open-plan layout. Full-height bi-folding doors open onto the outdoor space, creating a seamless connection with the surrounding landscape.

    • Wi-Fi: Fibre connection (may experience occasional blips due to rural location)

    • Log burners: Starter pack included; additional logs available to purchase

    • High chair: 1 provided, more available on request

    • Hot tubs: Cleaned and refilled for every booking; chemicals balanced daily by staff

    • Heating: LPG gas central heating with Hive control

    • Toilet rolls: 2 new rolls in every bathroom
