"Fantastic place to stay. Good choice of accommodation options and size. Friendly, helpful, professional staff who are there to help from the point of booking to leaving. Great location with Bowness-on-Windermere within walking distance. We have stayed there two yeas in succession for New Year and on each occasion cannot fault. Accommodation very clean with everything you need. Fantastic views. Great hot tub and great log burner. Great place for groups and families Would 100% fully recommend anyone to stay here. "We loved The Oaks! Everything was clean and tidy and well equipped. The location was idyllic: tranquil, peaceful with stunning views and rich wildlife from the window. We had such a great nights sleep! The bed was extremely comfortable and we woke feeling refreshed and relaxed. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. It has been a beautiful stay away from the rush of daily life. We’ll be booking again at this relaxing haven!"

"Stayed here 4 yes in a row now, in the big main house which is beautiful, with about 4 reception rooms, pool table, sauna, hot tubs, 12 bedrooms, 10 ensuite, well equipped kitchen, good outdoor space to play games or relax with lovely views out across the fields. Walking distance to Bowness on Windermere about 15mins (uphill on the way back) and driving distance to several lakes if you want paddleboarding. Highly recommend"
